The Enneagram & Sexuality

About this talk

Frederik & Valerie will discuss their preliminary findings from their international research on the enneagram & sexuality. Through dynamic focus groups with individuals of all 9 enneatypes from 16 different countries, they have learned about the various ways that our enneatype and dominant instinct may influence our sexual expression in specific areas such as flirting, fantasies & communication, physical intensity, the meaning ascribed to sex, masturbation, and more!

Frederik & Valerie will continue this research by conducting in-depth interviews with individuals from all 27 subtypes. They plan to interview 6 people from each enneatype + subtype, with the aim to strike a balance of representation across the gender spectrum. This study will be open to individuals of all gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, religious/spiritual beliefs, and other diverse backgrounds. The only pre-requisites to participate is that one must be fairly familiar with the enneagram, know their subtype well, and be willing to have open and honest discussions about sexuality.
